Been using for over 4 years…this stuff is awesome!!! Look at my other review of Unique for the pet stain. For the Carpet version of Unique I also using in my rug cleaner.For stains this is what I do:CARPET & RUGS: Seriously this stuff is amazing. I mix some concentrate in with some warm water. Get some white (make sure they are white washcloths…we buy bar white cloths at bj’s or costco in bulk) washcloths and rinse and ring them out with warm water. Then shake or pour the Unique mixed with warm water (water activates it) onto the stain. I have used this on rust, body gross stuff from my kids, ink, coffee, juice, markers…you name it. Put the white damp washcloth on top of it (if you have a huge stain then use a large white towel). Then leave the the white washcloths on top (and keep damp) till the stain is gone. The other day seriously I put it on top of rust. I watched the white wash cloth pull the stain up into it. I should have video taped it.MICROFIBER: We have a microfiber yellow (yes yellow and to make it more nuts it is in our kitchen…did I take the crazy pill? nope.) couch. My young kids have tortured this beautiful small couch in our kitchen with markers and pens. Some of the markers are washable (what a joke…so not washable on clothes), permanent sharpie markers, red markers, black and blue pens. I do the same as I do on the carpet but I do more scrubbing with the Unique than I do with the carpet. Make sure to keep a damp cloth on top till it is all gone. Sometimes I have to replace the damp washcloth with a new one or I redampen it in warm Unique water. Sometimes I use my machine for carpet and furniture but only if I need to suck up some of the water. Otherwise I don’t need it. We also have a velvet couch that we use it on but this is a very delicate fabric. It doesn’t work as well on here. But we have had it professionally cleaned and even they couldn’t get out half the stuff that Unique was able to get out.What is cool about this stuff is the bacteria is activated by water (so don’t mix more than you need within the next 14 days or it turns null/void). The bacteria (I think of them like little pac-men) eat up the odor/stain and then they dissolve by turning into carbon dioxide and flying off into the air. I prefer Green or Environmentally friendly laundry products.
This product does not lift stains or stop odors. I would definetly advise anyone against it!! Also, keep in mind the picture they show to advertise is a 64oz. jug. You are spending alot of money for a 32oz. bottle. While to size is clearly listed, the picture is misleading.
