Beats Resolve for cleaning and scent The Bissell line of rug shampoos are so much more effective than what I find in the grocery store or big box store. If you shop there, you’ll see gallons of Resolve, and maybe “Zepp” brand lining the shelves. I own a Hoover Max Extract All-terrain carpet washer and have always used the Hoover Platinum collection Pet Plus detergent for cleaning carpets. I had been fairly pleased with this detergent when compared to the more basic Hoover detergents sold in stores and didn’t really expect the Bissell formula to do much better.
