I found that it collects in the vacuum cleaner and after a few uses I needed to clean it out, but that doesn’t bother us too much as our vacuum cleaner manufacturer makes a similar product. It isn’t very difficult to maintain and is worth the effort for the result. It does freshen and smells fine. It seems to have discouraged our pets from resoiling at this writing. I saw one of them approach and then leave after investigating.
