Because of the concentration, six ounces is enough for one cycle of the machine. With a full 64 ounce bottle, which is a bargain, you’ll have enough on hand to run your machine for quite some time.I do have three animals in the house and when I cleaned what I call the world’s worst rug, I was extremely satisfied with the results. CleanPlus touts itself as a “deodorizer” and once I was done there wasn’t any lingering animal odor in the air nor was there any chemical smell. This is 100% biodegradable and when I emptied my Dirty Water Tank, I didn’t hesitate to dump it outside.The CleanPlus can be used in any carpet/upholstery machine that uses this type of cleaner. The only limitations it has is that “it is not for use on silk, leather, vinyl or linen.” Unlike another name brand machine, which invalidates the warranty if anything but their product is used, Hoover doesn’t. This comes with a very high recommendation!
