Fantastic Product I was highly skeptical about purchasing this item to clean my vintage velvet couch, but I took a stab in the dark because of the items description, & the fact that I was desperate to find something that can clean such an “iffy” fabric such as velvet. I vacuumed the couch with the furniture attachment on my vacuum cleaner against the nap to raise the loose dirt & dust out of the fabric before using this product. Since I had to clean the entire couch, I cleaned it in sections using a semi-damp white cloth to rub the product into the fabric (once again, against the nap) & let it dry overnight. I must say that this product is extremely fantastic & it exceeded my expectations. Note: If you have to clean your entire couch, I would advise that you purchase two bottles (I used 1 1/2 bottles to clean mine). If you just need to spot clean, you will only have to purchase 1 bottle. Happy shopping! 🙂
