Cool Tool that made me a fool! Bought this model because of the rave reviews on DIY Networks “Cool Tools” Show. It broke during the first use, forcing my project to be on hold. I tried to call Dirt Devil to return the item because it is labeled “do not return to store”. After being told that normal business hours for the call center did not include weekends (when most of us work on projects that involve power washers), I called back on Monday. An automated system had me on hold for 10 minutes before I took the offer for a call back when an operator was available. I never got my call back, so Tuesday I tried the automated telephone service again. I finally got a person that took my personal information and transferred me to another automated service for a return. After being on hold I had to give my personal information again to be told that I had to return the product were I bought it.This product looks cool and has a lot of neat toys, but don’t be fooled. The vacuum is really a drop in separate unit and the pressure washer is bulky so that it can fit the vacuum in place. Also, it’s plastic and awkward to move. The pressure washer started leaking about about 5 hours of use and the cleaner fluid levels never dropped in those 5 hours except when I rolled it and the cleaner leaked on the ground.When the pressure washer worked I liked the results, but any pressure washer will have the same cleaner looking result when it works.
Nice Concept Just bought one and used it a couple of times.Pros: Nice multi-function machine, pressure washer, wet / Dry vacuum & blower. Usage of pressure washer is obvious, but I was happy that after I washed my car down I could blow the water away and hardly toweled it down for a clean finish. Also the wet vacuum was very useful to suck all the semi-wet small leaves and fine dirt along my back yard skirt lines and blew away all the dry loose dust inside my garage.Cons: I felt that the suction power on vacuum was OK but not as powerful as the 13amp motor should have been. But good enough for the task I am at. I wish it had the hose reel like the other models from dirt devil has. Its just makes it easy to unwind finish your work and wind it back up.Bottom line too early to put a final verdict from my side, nevertheless I am happy with it so far.
