An unbelievable little vacuum! Let me start by saying that I LOVE to vacuum. I have 4 dogs and 2 cats, thus also have 4 different vacuums. I was lucky enough to find this vacuum, and after several uses, I just HAD to review it.This vacuum is almost perfect for its intended use (the car). It’s very light, easy to hold in one hand while using the other to vacuum, and SUPER powerful! This little vac vacuums better than my shop vac – the suction is unbelievable! It’s got a pretty good sized bagless compartment for emptying, and is very simple to empty – just press a button, pop out the reservoir, dump in the garbage, put back in the vac, and close. The attachments are what really sell this vacuum. It has a standard crevice tool, a carpet tool, and two other brush attachments. The carpet attachment is unbelievable – I have never found anything that gets rid of dog hair in my floor mats better than this attachment! It’s got a rubberized tip, so it collects all the hair and sucks it up. It works far better for pet hair in carpet than any other tool I’ve found! The brush attachment works great for vacuuming the dust from car vents and crevices. The crevice tool works really well – it only got plugged up once (with a gummy bear), so I shut it off, shook out the bear, then started again. The hose is made of cheap plastic, but luckily doesn’t kink like most plastic hoses. It actually works really well, and has a built-in swivel at the base which is a very nice touch. This is one of the best vacuums I’ve ever owned, and I’ve tried a lot! The suction is unbelievable, and it works FAR better than any other vacuum I’ve tried thus far. It’s also great for small projects inside the home (vacuuming the couch, electronics, etc.). Highly recommended!
Sucks great but the bag can be a pain and the smell… STINKY With 2 kids (and a seemingly endless supply of goldfish crackers under the seats) and a large dog I’m not stranger to car vacuums. We’ve had a ton of different ones and I normally just revert to taking my Eureka Mightly Mite (best vacuum ever for hardfloors I might add) outside to use. I try to shy away from 12v car vacs as they just never have enough power to suck dog hair out of carpeting and normally I hate bagless as pulling tons of dirty/dusty hair out of a little cup isn’t fun but decided to give this a try.I love that the attachments all store directly on it and that it has a cord wrap place, though given the size they could have included a longer cord and it would have still wrapped well. I do wish there was a even thinner crevice tool or that I could use tools from my other vacuums on it since it does have amazing suction for it’s size. The rubberized coating so far is holding up for me and it’s another huge plus in my book since that coating really helps pull pet hair off carpeting, I hope it doesn’t wear off as other have mentioned. The brush heads work well on vents. The hose in general could be longer, I have a minivan though so for most people it’s probably sufficient. So why not more stars? Well the smell this thing produces is STILL in my van over a week later, and that’s with leaving the windows down in the garage and driving with them cracked.. it’s awful. It comes boxed up pretty much open so obviously any smell is coming from the inside when using it. I’ve only used it once as I’m desperate not to have that odor even stronger, I might plug it in on the porch and turn it on to see if it burns off a bit. Not sure if having a hair/crumb free car is worth it if you don’t want to be in it because of a lingering odor. Lastly I wish it had bags, if you just have a few crumbs the bagless pouch is likely great but for anyone with pet hair or more dirt it’s a royal pain to empty out and given how small it is it also fills up very quickly. My search for the perfect car vac will continue, though if I can get rid of the odor this will become my new go-to for quick pickups.
Incorrect Description – NOT a car vac! A “car vac” must have a power source that can plug into the cigarette outlet in your car. This vac is ONLY for those that park their car in a garage. It comes with a wall outlet only, and the cord is 12ft. If you do not have a garage and park your car on the street, you would need an extension cord which this product does not inform you of. Other option is a converter from 120V to car adapter, but that converter, because of the high voltage, is $215. I would NOT recommend this product if you are looking for a vac for your car, only for your house. ALSO, there is no way to contact the seller, so they make you pay for return the item back to them. Ridiculous. I lose money because of their misinformation.
