Perfect combination of carpet cleaning products Update: This stuff is the best! The pre-treatment really works the stain out. Yet again, DOG drank from some loathesome puddle when I was not looking, and the carpet paid the price for her intemperate ways. A quick mop up followed by spray, then the shampoo in my Spot Bot, stains are lifted out and the carpet smells great. Any residual stain is removed by the foam post-treatment. This is really effective. I’m “resolve’d” to keep this on hand at all times. It works!I think Bissell got this right; a pretreatment spray, shampoo concentrate for the shampooer and a foam stain remover. The combination is very effective to remove residual stains and make the carpets look and smell great.I have a Rug Doctor and it works fine in that–also in an older Hoover upright and the doggy Spot-Bot. If you have used Resolve, which is what I can find at our local big box stores and grocery stores, this seems a lot more effective. I prefer the shampoo concentrate to Resolve for certain, and the sprays seem better as well.For the record, I have a dog, a cat and those inevitable pale beige carpets that show EVERYTHING.
Great value for the money This is the only complete steam cleaning set you will ever need to clean your rugs.It comes with a Pre-Treatment spray, which works great and smells wonderful. It also comes with a Spot & Stain Foam for those imbedded, deep down hard to remove stains, which works well too and smells great. Then comes with the cleaning solution for the steam machine. All work very well together and leaves your home smelling fresh and clean and leaves your rugs looking brand new. I use the Pre-Treatment Spray as a regular treatment for when my dogs have an accident. It works as well as the Resolve Pet and Stain Remover. So since I try to steam clean my rugs once a month anyway, I now buy this instead of the Resolve product I was buying for quick clean ups.
