The Oreck Dry Carpet Cleaning Powder is an easy, effective way to help keep your carpet and upholstery looking beautiful. Brush the Oreck Dry Carpet Cleaning Powder into the carpet using a brush applicator. For upholstery, use a soft bristle hand brush or a terry cloth towel. For larger floor areas, use the Oreck Orbiter floor care machine. The particles will penetrate the fibers and absorb dirt.

- This is step two in an easy four step cleaning process
- Step 1 – Simply remove any solid material and blot wet spills prior to cleaning. Apply a fine mist of Oreck Premist® Soil Release Pre-Spray without oversaturating the carpet
- Step 2 – Sprinkle Oreck Dry Carpet® Dry Carpet Cleaning Powder over the treated area
- Step 3 – Brush the powder into the carpet. For upholstery, use a soft bristle hand brush or a cloth. For larger areas, use the Oreck Orbiter® Multipurpose Floor Cleaner The particules will penetrate the fibers and absorb dirt.
- Step 4 – Allow at least 30-45 minutes for the soil-laden particles to dry, then simply vacuum
oreck dry carpet cleaner we bought this in an effort to clean our carpets for grandaughter who was beginning to crawl. We wanted to clean the carpets wtihout the concern of kowasaki syndrome ( with carpet scrubbing with water, cleanser,etc). We were not only amazed at how well this did on the carpets in removing stains but the ease in doing so in comparison to using our rug scrubber. It seemed as though it continued to clean for a day or so after applying it. I plan on getting more of this product and doing our carpets again. With a large family, multiple house pets, a baby…it is so worth it.

On my berber-like carpet this is the only way to go. It continues to work after the initial application as evidenced by continued pick up of powder int he vacuum.
